Tolerance
Nominee / Most Promising Emerging Ngā Toi Artist, NZ Fringe Awards 2026 - Parekawa Finlay
Watercooler by Amy Wright and Viki Moananu
Thunderstruck by Campbell Wright and Zachary Klein
And That’s The Tea by Matt Loveranes and Sophie Maree
Self Care by Rachel Atlas and Rachel McLean
In our follow up to Compromise, eight more of Te Whanganui-a-Tara’s most acclaimed emerging playwrights (Rachel Atlas, Rachel McLean, Campbell Wright, Zachary Klein, Viki Moananu, Amy Wright, Sophie Maree, and Matt Loveranes) tolerated one another, as they paired up to create four short plays on the theme of Tolerance. The result was an eclectic work about the ways we should (and shouldn’t) put up with those around us, as the world burns down.
